Well worth the money
Works surprisingly well, ( we used it on pine), worked best when used upside down. Different wood has different bark so you may get different result but I'm old and not in good shape and I still got a 16 foot 8" inch diameter pine log done in 20 minutes, well worth the money.

Design flawed
Handles spin which makes it impossible to index blade into the bark. In order to make this tool work user must hold the actual blade which is very dangerous.

Removes Bark
Works for removing bark and will do what I need. Holds a sharp enough edge and is easy to sharpen

Straight blade may have been better than curved for getting bark off logs
Handles tend to roll a lot when using it. Straight blade may have been better than curved for getting bark off logs.

Five Stars
Works great. Sharp enough to do the job. The straight blades are easier to use.

disenchanted
Tool is what was expected. The issue is the way the product is packaged for shipping which is not acceptable.

Do not buy this product. It is garbage!
This curved draw knife is garbage! Should have a negative rating rather than one star. Do not, I repeat do not buy this draw knife. Some idiot managed to put a 90 degrees burr on the cutting edge. This thing might cut hot butter but it will not draw. Do not buy this garbage! I knew it was made in China when I bought it. I thought there would be some modicum of quality control---Wrong! This piece of crap gives China a bad name.

Not a super easy tool to use
The wooden handles spin when you are using this tool. That makes it hard to control the bark removal efforts. It also doesn't seem sharp enough.
