The media could not be loaded.  This review is for the “Movie Projector, Artlii Full HD 1080P Home Theater Projector, LED Projector with HiFi Stereo and Screen Zooming, Compatible with Firetv, HDMI, USB, Laptop and iPhone,for PowerPoint Presentation.”1) Overall the Artlii Energon Plus is an excellent projector in terms of image quality, brightness and sound. It has a native 1080P Resolution which is evident especially if you compare it to lower priced projectors that have lower resolutions.2) With almost instantaneous delivery by Amazon, The Energon Plus arrived in an elegant black and yellow box within which it was well protected (suspended in foam) which is important especially for protecting sensitive equipment during shipment. A smaller box underneath the projector includes an HDMI cable (great so that you don’t have to find or buy one after you receive the projector), 3 in 1 AV cable, power cable, remote, and manual.3) The high resolution, excellent sound from dual stereo speakers, and brightness of 200 ANSI Lumens, results in a decent sized projector that looks hefty like it means business, but is light enough to easily move and carry. The design is simple and elegant.4) The Energon Plus has an elegant, extremely responsive and easy-to-use, touch sensitive interface (see picture) on the top lower right hand corner of the projector. It also has an excellent remote. The projector can be controlled from both. When I am close to the projector, I prefer using the touch panel and use the remote of course when I am further away.5) This projector is intuitive and easy to set up. I had it up and running, projecting photos and movies from USB drives or a laptop in less than 1 minute after opening the package. It’s literally plug and play. If you need instructions, the simple but clear manual is there to help you out, but I was able to do everything I needed without referring to the manual.6) The projector accepts input through 2 HDMI ports, 1 VGA, 1 USB and 1 SD card port (see picture).7) The projector does a great job with still images/photos (see pictures) and with movies.8) The sound form the dual speakers is surprisingly good. Because the projector is extremely quiet, the power of it’s on board speakers may be sufficient to fill a decent sized room, although this, like all other aspects of a product such as this, will be subject to personal preference.9) The focus and keystone adjustments are accessed right above the lens. They are extremely easy to use and make very quick and effective adjustments to focus and for keystone correction.10) I felt that another great feature of this projector was it’s ability to zoom the image without changing the distance of the projector from the screen. This is an extremely beneficial feature because given the configuration of your room/home, it is not always possible to move the projector close to or far away from the screen in order to achieve the projection size you desire. The zoom function makes it easier to change image size although some back or forth position adjustments of the projector may also be required.11) In addition to images and movies, PowerPoint presentations seem to be a good way to test the quality of a projector. I tried projecting a PowerPoint presentation and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and functionality of the Energon Plus. I think this speaks very well for the Energon Plus, because many lower resolution projectors indicate up front that they can’t really be used for PowerPoint. The Artlii Energon Plus product page actually states that it can be used for PowerPoint presentations and it lives up to that claim.12) Through its simple but effective and functional MENU (that can be accessed from the touch panel on top of the projector, and from the remote) the Energon Plus provides options for adjusting many things, including image appearance, color temperature, and noise reduction settings. Tweaking these is easy and it resulted in what I felt were even better images and movies.13) Related to “12” above, I found that turning “Noise Reduction” OFF, actually made the images better in my opinion. (See video for how to do this. A similar sequence can be used to adjust image appearance, etc.) It is easy to try out different image settings and in my opinion is worth doing to see if you can get the images to be closer to your personal preference.14) Please be aware that the projector seems to have a cool down function and it is better to wait for it to cool down AFTER you touch “power off” on the touch panel, and BEFORE you physically turn it OFF using the switch at the back. It seems that pulsating touch panel lights indicate that it is cooling down, and when the lights stop pulsating, the projector is ready to be unplugged.Overall, I am impressed and pleased with where this technology has reached and the reasonable price at which it is being made available to consumers.I will update this review if I think of additional dimensions (or have additional experiences with the Energon Plus) that are likely to be helpful to potential buyers.If you purchase the Energon Plus, I hope you are happy with your decision. In case it helps, I have found Amazon’s amazing “question asking” system to be very helpful. Other users, and the manufacturer, can be helpful and I too try to help where possible.

The media could not be loaded.  This is my 3rd Artlii projector, all in good and working shape, although for a different use at home or outside.. got a 720, the first one, my daughter use it for movies and youtube videos all the time, really nice image..... a pico projector that was the second one, lower resolution for karaokes parties as it is great and very portable, 3d ready also, and now this full HD at 1080P, the best!...., it is a great improvement over the others, first the full HD resolution, better brightness and colors, although it came with a better sound, i still use a sound bar to get the max from movies experience, and this projector really do have a great image.... Im fan of this brand, my first projector has not fail at all and got the first it since jan '19 no image degraded since either...Pros:-Full HD 1080P native resolution... great!-Better brightness for big screen projection at controlled light environment... but also a decent image on lighted room-Contrast and crisp colors, menu let adjust them to get the most on different environments.-Although i used a sound bar, it has a good sound.-Powered USB, reducing mess with power adapter for roku or fire tv stick or any other, just a short usb cable and done.-Keystone adjustment to correct the image distortion from different vertical angles, as when you installed on a ceiling-mount-Focus ring adjustment to get a clear image.-Electronic image size adjustment, very useful when you have to move it far away from the screen, you can reduce the image to make it fit easily instead of move it closer.-2 HDMI ports, VGA port, and composite video port (cables) give you more device connection possibilities.-SD card reader and USB port with Internal media player to play media from the SD card or USB, you can view your own videos and photos with easy here.-Ventilation Filter, this will keep the internals safe from overheating and dust, which reduce the electronics life...just need to monitor it and clean it every once.-Lighted touch pad instead of buttons-Small and comfortable remote control.-A really nice looking metal finish unitCons:No CEC or ARC compatible... that give control on your connected devices with just one remote thru HDMINo Horizontal keystone, to fix distortion when you install your projector at the left or right of the screenConclusion: this is now my best option for movies, huge, clear and colorful image at low cost, looks very durable brand.
