I bought this for flatter better pressing of quilt seams. Immediately the wool and/or adhesive that holds it together (?) scorched and stuck to my iron. I thought maybe this was because it was new and would stop happening but it never did. Scorched at all ironing temps. The stuff is still on my iron. I returned it of course. Sorry!

I received this product fast and was pleasantly surprised when I opened up the box it came in. Nicely packaged and it has no odor. It's the perfect size and feels thick & sturdy. The quality of this product was well worth the investment. This is the first time using a Pressing Mat for my quilting, and I wish I had used one sooner! I do a lot of work involving small pieces that need perfectly flat pressing. I was always struggling to manage my make-shift pad while trying to get the perfect creases. The product info claims you can iron on this without harming your sewing table. I used as directed with my steam iron and it warped my cutting mat on my sewing table.

The Pressing Pad has the thickness necessary to completely cutting of material. It is wool material on both sides allowing for use on both surfaces. This makes it very handy. It's large enough for big patterns of cloth as well. I have a large surface Iron and the Pressing Pad easily accommodates it. This product is exactly what I have been looking for.

I bought this as a gift for my sister who is into crafting and quilting. She absolutely loves it! So far she has used it for several projects and is so glad I got it for her. The quality and durability is amazing! This is an excellent product and such a good price too! I'll have to buy one for my mom also for Christmas.

This Madam Sew Wool Pressing Mat for Quilting is the perfect size to keep handy for my quilting projects. The wool pad keeps the fabric in place and makes ironing each block an easy and satisfying experience. I also have a lot of embroidered table scarfs which look so much better now when ironed on this mat. Wonderful quality and fairly priced. I'm considering purchasing some for my quilter buddies as holiday gifts.
