This is the best one!
I bought a couple of drawing books and I LOVE This one.It doesn't teach about drawing as much. But it gets RIGHT INTO drawing pictures and you learn along the way. You have tons of things to draw so you're active right out of the gate. This is a great how to!

Breaks down how to draw into easy steps
Over all I think this book is nice. I am an art teacher so I have been using it for early finishers to use as skill practices. They really enjoy doing them and it does break everything down into steps using shapes and also builds up the values to add dimension to the objects. I have even done some my self as just a quick draw and I enjoyed it as well. Overall I think it’s a good book well made and a good amount of content. Helpful when you want to draw but maybe done have any ideas or if you trying to develop your art skills.

Until this book I had no idea I'm good at drawing haha
It's great! I love it!! Super easy to understand and a great way to relax after work. I'm not an artist, so these drawings take me a bit more time, but not by much. I'm so grateful that resources like these are available! I'm proud of many of the drawings I created with this book :)

Arrived on time with another thing I ordered. Only issue is that there is a corner that is slightly bent. Other than that, arrived safe and sound, just in time. Thanks!

wow, I CAN draw that!
I absolutely love this book! I'm only on the 2nd drawing chapter, but the detailed instructions make drawing images I never thought I could draw come to life. My drawings are not as good as the originals, but you can tell what they are. I am drawing things I never thought I could draw!

The devil is in the DETAILS
The media could not be loaded. I highly recommend this book to anyone trying to learn to draw, or to anyone who wants to improve the quality of their drawing! The pages of this book are a decent size, just shy of 8.5 x 11. The images are large enough to actually make out small details in the drawings, and the text is large enough to actually read. Also, the author doesn't waste 20 pages telling you about materials, equipment, and the history of pencil lead, LoL! Their are 160 pages of useful information and step-by-step examples.

Not what I hoped it would be.
The only major concept in this book seems to be to draw your drawings using simple forms as the base and adding layers of shading to each step to complete a finished product. The major failing of the book is that along the steps demonstrated for each drawing, the last step is so far above the next-to-the-last step that it is basically useless. Going from that last, simple improvement to the actual final drawing demonstrated is a huge, enormous improvement with no details to help you get from it to a good final drawing.
