Great adapter to allow USB-C charging of older laptops
Have two older HP laptops, which both use the same connector and both had the long cords with the requisite blocks, always getting really hot when charging. When the plugs started acting wonky, I looked for other solutions and found this adaptor. I sure am glad I did. With a mini block capable of at least 30 W, and a USB-C cable, I can now charge my laptops faster and more reliably. The adaptor fits perfectly in both HP laptops and just plain works. Now, instead of a cord and big, heavy block, I have a faster USB-C cable and a mini block from monoprice. More charging capability, and faster, with smaller cable and block. Win win.

These PD triggers are very useful
These things are very useful for on the go power needs, if you have a good PD Battery pack like the RavPower 60w you can pull 20v @ 3a from a pack like that for any need, in combination with a DC/DC buck or boost you can make a super small universal on the go power supply. I have one setup to a BT Power amp and allows me to setup a small on the go stereo system. Can be used to power most laptops if the tip is correct or you have a converter (some HP and Dell systems are "special" though and want to see specific resistance between 2 of the + contacts, basically they are parallel positive power but with a resistor on the one + so there is a very slight difference in the voltage which indicates to the laptop that it is "genuine", AKA a way to make you pay more for their power adapters).

Simplifies travel - but plug is too long for my computer
I travel all the time (50%+) so anything I can do to simplify my charging situation is a plus. This works and now I don't need to take my laptop charger as I am already bringing a 100W 4 outlet (UGREEN 100W USB C Charger, Nexode 4-Port GaN Foldable Compact Wall Charger --- 3 USB C, 1 regular USB) charger. Plug this into a USB C cable (same one I use for my ipad) and charge my laptop. If you use your laptop on a plane or where it might be moved often (your lap) this is not as good solution as the plug is longer than a normal plug (for my laptop anyway - might not be the case for all) and does not sit SNUG in the receptacle on the laptop (Asus L-210MA). For me - still worth it to not have to bring a separate charger.Update - did not last one year. Thought my computer died but it was this plug not charging anymore.Wrote to company and did not receive a response. Changing my rating to one star.

Great adapter
Although I did have to return this, this adapter worked pretty well with my HP laptop and Lenovo docking station. The fit and compatibility was just fine and it pulled from the power source like it was supposed to. I ended up having to return it because my laptop was old and I decided to just purchase a new one. The build quality is pretty good although I would have liked for the connection to be a little tighter or even a different shape. Although the l shape would be perfect for most setups, it wasn't for mine. I have a laptop with dual monitors on risers and for whatever reason at times it would disconnect but again that was due to my laptop being as old as it was. The value of this adapter All in all is worth it if you need one.

Works as specified
As long as the power source is high enough this really works

Does not charge Acer Aspire 5 N22C6
Don't know if it's because the adapter is too long for the charge port or if the adapter is faulty. Fits port by diameter.

Amazing adapter for charging via Type C cable
The laptop I used this adapter on is a Dell Inspiron 7375I wanted to charge my laptop via a 65W PD charger and a portable PD power bank because it is less weight to carry around compared to the original Dell charger. It's also a lot more convenient because most of my devices are using type C connections. At first there was some issues with my laptop not detecting a battery to charge. So initially, it was only keeping my laptop powered on but not charging. I had to go into the Dell laptop BIOS and change battery charging from "Adaptive" to "Standard." It is now detecting the battery and charging it without issues now. This is great and now I can use a Power Delivery (PD) power brick and a light weight PD charger around.
