I already have three trivets at home, but I really *wanted* this one because it was so darn cute.— DESIGN —From a design perspective, it's top-notch ultra cute. It's for you or it's not.From a construction standpoint, I think the silicone is on the thin side. Thin enough where you can see light shine through in the middle section. While I'm sure it's durable, I have this fear it might rip at some point, and I'll update this review if that should ever happen. If Ototo were to update it, I would make the overall thing maybe 1mm thicker.One minor thing I wish it had was a hole to hang this on a shelf, but a bear with a hole in it's tail won't exactly look good, so this detail doesn't have to happen.— HEAT RESISTANCE —The packaging description only says "resistant to high temperatures," but does not give a specific temperature. That's a bit of a flag for me, so I'm only putting pots on top after it's been off the heat for a few minutes. Just in case.— SUMMARY —This trivet really gives me joy to look at and I enjoy using it. If you don't already have a trivet, this one adds some personality to your kitchen. Recommended.

Fun silicone pad that we enjoy using although it is much thinner than many of our other silicone hot pads. Size is good for small pots.

I bought this trivet as a gift for someone who enjoys practical items. As something that puts the “fun” in functional, this trivet brightens up a kitchen (particularly in the winter months). It holds up its end of the bargain well—shielding counters and tables from hot items. It is sized well for a medium-sized sauce pan but also works as a coaster for larger mugs. To be honest, it is on the pricey side for what it is (performing a job that could also be accomplished by a folded kitchen towel) but it is cute, fun, and fairly easy to clean.

I love how cute it is, a little smaller than expected but it’ll be perfect for my apartment!!

So much fun. Underside has little bear pads on the feet too. Makes me so happy everytime I go in the kitchen.

Work exactly like a trivet should. Hasn't failed me yet. Little bear looks so cute sitting out. I didnt realize till a few weeks after we got him but the underside has a round little belly and little bear toe beans! If you like things that bring you joy and are functional... this guy. %100.

... but it does look a bit like road-kill. Quite what sort of vehicle would be capable of squashing a polar bear, I don't know. Still, the bumps on the surface do look disturbingly like tyre tread. This effect is more noticeable in the real thing than it appears in the photos. It's perfectly functional, but a bit, well, weird.

Its a silicon trivet in the shape of a bear what more can I say... its fun and well made...

Really disappointed with the quality of this product. Bought as a gift but it’s so cheap looking and definitely not worth the money.

Lovely product and worth the money however the size is a bit too small especially for larger pans
