Chesapeake Bay Candle Scented Ceramic Jar Candle with Lid, Milk & Honey, Small, White

Ugh :( I am a B&BW/Yankee candle addict but I saw all the great reviews for Chesapeake Bay candles and, against my better judgement, I decided I needed to get one. I ordered the two-wick Driftwood and Amber scent. I love this scent in general so I figured it was a safe bet. While the scent seems pleasant, I can BARELY smell it. I’m talking face in the candle, flames burning my eyebrows off close to even get a whiff of the scent. WHERE IS THE THROW?! I’m using this candle in a small office space so it should have some sort of throw but unfortunately it doesn’t. I’d have been better off burning the cash I spent on this candle as it probably would’ve had a better throw. 2 stars for what I think would’ve made a good scent and I like the tin it comes in. If you’re a B&BW addict looking for a quick candle fix, this is NOT it.

I am a Pumpkin scent/flavor junkie and have tried all sorts of pumpkin scented candles. This is hands down my new favorite.I love the aroma, it smells very similar to a pumpkin spice latte. It is not too rich, yet the smell can fill an entire living room with a pleasantly sweet and rich fall smell.So far I have burned it for about 8 hours total and there is still plenty left. I was surprised when it arrived, I thought it would be larger. The candle is roughly 7 inches long and not very tall. I took two photos, in one this candle is placed next to a bath and bodyworks candle holder to show scale.The candle has two wicks. As it burns, the melting wax looks pretty clear and has a cool effect. The wicks do not produce much smoke.Overall if you are in the market for a pumpkin candle, go ahead and add this to your cart. This will definitely enhance your autumn.

Love this candle. The tin that is comes in is very nice with any decor. The Blood Orange scent is not overwhelming. It gives a nice pleasant scent which is clean and welcoming. People walk into my house and notice. They say how nice it smells and want to know where I got the candle. It has a lid which is nice so the candle doesn't gather dust when not being used. I like the two wicks, which looks nice and seven a purpose, more scent. Would buy in more scents for sure.

I bought this candle to cover up dog farts. These aren't just cute little farts...these will peel latex paint off a wall. The reviews were decent so I figured I'd try it out. This candle does smell great, but isn't strong. I was sitting rigtr next to the candle and the dogs were around 8 feet away and I began to smell the fart creeping in. 10 seconds later and I was in the thick of it. It's like the candle ran away from me, forgetting it was supposed to have my back.

This candle does have a very pleasant smell and a pretty good, even burn. I would like to have it fill the room a bit more with the fragrance vs. having to be quite near it to have much effect. Overall, it is a pretty nice candle in a nice-looking tin. The one thing I am not so sold on is that "Chesapeake Bay Candle" sounds nice and all and is a company out of Rockville, MD. Unfortunately, the candle is actually produced in Vietnam.

I love these candles. I like a earthy more woodsy smell and these candles are perfect for me. I have the fig one in my bedroom, the leather one in the living room and the bay cottage in the entry. I've liked them so much I have also purchased the smaller mind and body ones for the bathroom. I like the confidence one and also the reflection one. I just ordered the beach bonfire candle and can't wait to receive it. For me the scents are very pleasant, not perfumery and sweet. I hate food smelling candles. If your looking for sophisticated earthy aromas these candles are for you. The quality for the price is hands down amazing. I love the simple jars also, easy to incorporate into your decor.

I have bought a lot of amber scents in my time, as it is my name and I do like the true scent. This is not a true scent. My boyfriend said this smelled like a log that was burning after someone peed on it. I thought it smelled like what mold would smell like if it could be burnt. The fact that this company is charging people for this atrocious smell is offensive. I'm not even kidding. I want my money back for it. The Blood Orange is okay. Smells like blood orange, could be stronger anc could have lasted longer but otherwise good.

THANK YOU Amazon for wrapping the glass candle so well. The box it was in was nearly destroyed and I was sick when I saw it. I thought for sure the candle was broken. But it's perfectly fine. And it smells so yummy.

Way too expensive for how much you get.
