Hi, the bottle is made of plastic. It says it's widely recycable.

Q: Please can you confirm if the algae oil is fresh, or is it dried at any point in it's production process?

Q: received this item today but the cap will NOT open. anyone had this issue? not a child lock but refuses to open. before cutting the bottle any ideas?

Thank you for your question. I’m very sorry that you have not been able to open your tub of Vegan Omega-3. Whilst we have not had any similar reports, it is possible that the adhesive used for the inner tamper-proof seal has come into contact with the lid also, making the lid difficult to remove. Because the adhesive is applied using heat, you may find that running the lid under hot water will help to aid its release. I’m very sorry for any inconvenience caused. Worth the slightly extra expense

Following review of my eating habits I decided addition of omega 3 supplements would not be a bad idea. I purchased an animal based product which caused my tummy some issues. So switched to this product. Perfect. No issues, easy to take and no fishy aftertaste. Although slightly more expensive I would highly recommend.

Better than fish derived

I switched to these after the usual fish-burps that you get with traditional omega-3.These are superb. Easy to swallow, tasteless, with no repeats. Have just re-ordered.

Easy To Take But Slightly Fishy Taste

Overall, the capsules are small and easy to swallow. My only concern is that they do have a slight “fishy” taste, which I wasn’t expecting from an algae-based supplement. It’s not overwhelming, but it is noticeable.That said, these should work well if used as a top-up rather than the sole source of omega-3. You can naturally get a good dose from foods like a palm’s worth of walnut halves or a tablespoon of flaxseed, and then take these softgels 2–3 times a week. Used that way, a single pack can last a couple of months, making them more cost-effective too.In short, they’re a convenient supplement for vegetarians and vegans, but with a slight taste issue that’s worth being aware of.

Read a lot about the values for omega 3. These fit the bill. Been taking for over 6 months now. Can definitely felt the benefits, over the usual mass omega products on the market. Easy to swallow with no after taste either.

Very good supplement

Great to take if you are vegan or don’t like the taste of fish oils. I take these daily. No idea if they work but I don’t eat fish so it’s wise to take a supplement.
