Got this as a gag gift for my friends 50th wedding anniversary. It was the hit of the party. Especially with their children!! They got the biggest kick out of it. "A car was only $1,700.00 dollars??" And things like that. This also would be a great table gift for something like a high school reunion or a family reunion etc. Plus I believe there are lots of other years available.

this book is the size of a geating card with many more pages of course. It comes with an envelope so I used as a card for a birthday present. It is full of facts, trivia, and adds from the year on the front cover. I have bought different years to use as cards for people b-day.

I really enjoyed this little publication. I enjoyed the trivia very much. It was fun quizzing one another on the costs and culture items of the time. Some of the print is on the small side, but I wouldn't think it should be a deterrent to purchasing.

Got for boyfriend's bday. We enjoyed seeing all the comparisons. Had all topics (house, car, foods....) to include music

It's not bad, but it falls short of perfection. At least the paper isn't as cheap as a dollar store. However, I wished there was more interesting and useful information. The pictures and ads didn't really impress me. Overall, it's just average.

We gave this to my in-laws for their 50th wedding anniversary. They really enjoyed looking through it and reminiscing on a "much simpler time". It's pretty neat looking at how much things have changed since then...especially prices! I'm really glad we ordered this for them, it made a great conversation piece, and was enjoyed by all! As some have noted, it is pretty small, but I knew that upon ordering and gave it as a card along with a gift.
