The connectors work great, aside from having to pry open the run wire side, just a little bit, in order for the wire to slide in. Biggest warning is to look carefully at the wire gauges it will accept vs what you plan to use. The "run" side (the wire that goes straight through) can only be 14 -16 AWG. The "tap" side can accept up to 12 AWG wire. Not sure why they did that, since it makes no sense electrically to tap into a smaller diameter wire with a larger diameter wire.

Unless your landscape wiring is as thin as a basic rubber band, these are useless. Not able to crimp and if you try too hard, will cut your wire. That is the fixture wire. Forget trying to attach main 10, 12, 14 or16 gauge wire----impossible.

These are of such poor quality they cannot be used on any form of outdoor light system. The larger (power wire feed though) is on the inside of the clamp and has a plastic nub blocking it. The metal part that cuts though the insulation is cheap and soft and bends easily when crimped. This product is a joke. Useless!

Plastic material is very brittle and easily breaks when crimping, especially along the crease where the cover attached to the body. Broke at least 25% of the time in 50 degree temps.

Very difficult to install on low voltage wire. Ended buying a different connector

Do not buy these coonectors. Non functional for standard landscaping wires. The quality is very poor. The metal contact was weak, and it bent over before it was pushed in. There was molding flash inside the place for the wire, so you could not insert the wire before removing it. Garbage. Wasted my day trying to get my project done.

Claims to be for 12 ga & 14-16 ga wires but the metal plate is so soft and the piercing slots so small there is no way it can handle 12ga wire. 14ga may or may not work - couldn't tell as the whole thing bent and collapsed when one of the wires was 12ga.

perfect for low voltage lighting wiring. I used this on 14/2 wiring with no issues.
