These cables made a substantial difference in the sound quality of my surround sound system. I've used this brand guitar cables for a long time and remember what a difference it made when I plugged in through one of them, so I had an idea what I was in for. I waited until a friend came over so I had a witness, and as soon as I swapped out my other cable and plugged these in my friend said wow, that is a very noticeable difference and agreed that it sounded more open, transparent, and detailed. I have commercial level home recording equipment, so I tend to not put as much energy into my home system. I've had this system for a decade and it is almost like I got a massive upgrade to a component. Made me wanna listen to a bunch of albums over again to hear them this way. If people try to tell you that the cable doesn't matter, they are either hard of hearing or want to feel good about being cheap. These things should last you a lifetime so they are worth the one time purchase to get the most out of your system.

I'm not a believer in cables making a difference. What I do believe, is the connections make the difference. I had double insulated AudioQuest cables before this purchase, and had an audible hiss coming off the turntable. Replaced them, the turntable is now dead silence. I didn't experience any change in tone, sharpness, clarity, as anticipated. The removal of hiss I've never kicked on any of my prior set ups, has made me a believer. The quality of construction is evident in these cables. I have tried several cables. This cable is by far the clearest and most focused cable with sharp low level detail.This cable has clarity that beats cables costing $100. I thought I needed a new center speaker for my home theater before I got this cable. The detail sound was there, it just need to be let through. Before you get an upgrade try these cables first.I would recommend this cable to anyone. My highest recommendation. I am going to try the speaker wire next.

The cable works perfectly and was the solution to my subwoofer hum issues. I had used Mogami cables for to repair my Technics SL-1900 rca pair and they worked great. So it was an easy choice to go with this brand again. I replaced an inferior rca cable with this one and there was dead silence when I turned the subwoofer power on. Finally, the hum was gone!

buyer beware this is one single cable. I bought this thinking it was two cables to replace a cheap rca cable for my record player. Boy was I shocked when it turned out to be one cable for $50.
