Just the Right Balance of Weight, Size, Ergonomics, Value
Too bad this model appears to have been discontinued. I’ve been carrying it daily for years and particularly appreciate the straight cutting-edge blade style, low friction bearing, and finger flick opening ergonomics. Not to mention the sleek practical shape. No pretensions; no sharp edges; just the tool that you need that’s easy on your pocket — and your pocketbook.

Nice EDC.
Small knife. Detent is perfect. Lockup is around 50% and solid. Blade is dead center. Rockets out and is silky smooth. No wobble in any direction in any position. D2 blade is sharp and satin finish is beautiful. Pivot was a little loose out of the box, but even after tightening it, it still had a perfect detent and fired out super smooth. G10 scales nicely finished. My ONLY criticism would be the backspacer is not perfectly flush with the pocketclip-side scale.See photo. This is being supercritical, I know. Otherwise, I just found my EDC. For the price, this little guy is a steal! Tempted to buy it in every available color.UPDATE: I removed one star because the pocket clip is too big for the size of this knife. I ended up just taking it off.

Great tool for the price-
Smallest & lightest of the Ganzo/Firebird real D2 blade Chinese budget folders so far, small enough for comfortable EDC yet large enough for decent utility.Quick shipping. Nice quality knife, shaving sharp right OOTB, tight, 0 slop on the blade pivot, a well centered blade that opens easily but not TOO easily. Wharncliffe style blade is a good shape for my primary uses and easy to sharpen.

Decent knife
It's a nice knife it just feels a little cheap with the handle scales that are on there. I really like the blade shape and pocket clip.

Fantastic value! One of the best budget knives out there.
I had been hearing about this brand for a while now, so I thought I'd take the plunge and get one. I decided on the FH51 because of the styling and D2 blade. When I opened the box, I was impressed by the Benchmade style pouch. On first flick, it was very smooth and snappy. I kept telling my wife that this is NOT a $25 knife. I've paid $40-$50 for knives of less build quality. Is it perfect? No. While the fit is top notch (perfect centering, etc.) the finished product indicates the price more. No scratches or burrs, but for example the edges on the back of the blade are sharper than some, and the G10 on the inner edge is a bit sharp. Literally nothing that I can't fix easily if it bugs me that much. Solid 10/10, have zero concerns about buying another or buying something else made by them.

Tip broke, too bad for me
Nice and flicky.. light weight, comfortable. But if the steel breaks at the tip, is it worth anything. Usually, I would give the seller a chance to make it right, but since I bought it in October 2020, there's no way to return it. I expected it to last at least a year.

Ganzo is upping the game
I also own the FH21; and the FH51 is just as good. The 51 is a little smaller and fits my medium hand well. The 51 was clean and operating smoothly right out of the box. No lube or adjustment required, although centering was a little off. The knife was sharp, but stropping with green chrome oxide on leather made it very sharp. I like the aggressive blade shape and the D2 steel. Ball bearing pivot is quite smooth. Excellent value.
