Helped a little.
I have shoulder issues and still work out. I wanted something of extra support on my shoulder. This does do what it says but there are two problems. 1. The sling portion rides up constantly so you have to keep adjusting it. 2. It provides some support but not enough.

Perfect for me. I didnt want something to tight or too loose but still it's very stable.

strap going under the shoulder was very uncomfortable. Not practical.
The other support strap that goes under the other shoulder was uncomfortable after wearing it a while.
