Quality sprayer with great performance

Great sprayer! No more charging by manually pumping, just insert the battery and go. Very good quality and multiple spray tips for whatever you may need. Recommend. Using mine for spraying weeds and lawn care. Spray and pray!!!

Very high level of quality provides excellent performance

After having used my manual pump up 2 gallon sprayer for nearly 20 years, it decided to begin leaking air. I could not find the leak. Having to stop every 20 seconds to pump up the sprayer was not working for me. I thought that it would really be nice to have a sprayer that ran off of battery power. When I searched on line, I found many that provided a built in battery operated air pump that would pressurize the tank so that manual pumping wouldn't be needed. But I did read all the user reviews and many had complains that are just rather common because they still operate on air pressure inside the tank. While I don't know anything about battery operated sprayers, I wondered why no one was making a sprayer with a pump that pumped the liquid, not the air. I thought about the liquid pumps that are in the bottom of our car's gas tanks that drive the liquid gasoline to the engine. Did anyone make such a garden sprayer? After extensive Google searching, I found a company called Sprayers Plus that makes exactly what I was thinking of. After reading some user reviews, I purchase this YT25E sprayer from Amazon. It is expensive BUT when I see the quality of construction, I could see why. Everything is so well thought out. High quality parts and fabrication are used throughout. It has a longer hose than the "normal" pump up garden sprayers which allowed me to strap the sprayer into a light weight luggage type, 2-wheel cart so I can transport it everywhere without making my arm/shoulder sore. Once the switch is turned on, the pump runs continually. When I'm not squeezing the release handle to apply the contents, the liquid is just pumped back into the container. The spray is absolutely uniform. The spray patter does not change like it does in my manual pump sprayer when the air pressure begins to run out. It is no longer work to do weed patrol with this sprayer. I actually look forward to it. I highly recommend this sprayer

good, while it works.

This sprayer is GREAT as long as it works, but it fails regularly.I dusted off my third one this spring, cleaned it up and loaded it up with weed killer only to find it leaked like a sieve AND the pump had given out. Literally my third unit since 2021. They last maybe 18 months then die. After the first one, i started being meticulous without emptying and cleaning these after every use, but it doesnt appear to have a positive effect with regard to their longevity.in contrast the unit i have from my4sons has worked flawlessly since 2020 with 0 maintenance. The reason i keep coming back to these unreliable sprayers+ units is that again: when they work they are great, the smaller (2 gallon) tank is good for herbicides since i dont need a lot, the trigger action is smooth, and the spray pattern is tight and full; but these pros do not out-weight their constant failures.

What a labor-saver!

Until I bought this motorized pump sprayer, I did not realize how much time I used to spend filling, refilling, and frequently pumping up the pressure of the typical sprayers. This pump maintains a constant output pressure. When it's empty, you just unscrew the top (the tank is not pressurized), refill, and resume spraying. The battery lasts through at least 4 tanks of spray; probably more. One minor annoyance: about half of the shoulder strap lies on the ground and is easily saturated with whatever chemical you're spraying. This strap is also uncomfortable to sling over the shoulder; the balance is just not good.

Why is assembly this hard?

The sprayer has some minimal assembly required. Most of it was very easy...BUT....one part was absurdly difficult. At first, when I pulled everything out of the box, I started to worry that they had forgotten to include the charger and battery...then noticed the yellow sticker saying that those things were INSIDE the tank. Ok, all good, BUT once I removed the box of parts inside the tank, I noticed a little tag at the bottom of the tank that was attached to an orange rubber stopper. The tag said to remove the stopper and install the screen filter. This makes perfect sense because you don't want anything getting sucked up into the pump. HOWEVER, getting that accomplished was easier said than done. The orange rubber stopper comes off easily, but the L-shaped piece that you are supposed to replace it with is ALL THE WAY AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK IN A RECESSED AREA AND MUST BE PUT PRECISELY IN THE CORRECT ORIENTATION TO WORK CORRECTLY. If you put it with the filter aimed straight down, it is so tightly against the bottom that you will barely get any liquid flowing through. Alternatively, if you aim the screen upwards, you will have about an inch of wasted chemicals in the bottom of the tank every time you spray. I FINALLY figured out the trick. You have to install it with the screen down BUT AT AN ANGLE. The directions don't bother to give you this important tip, so I had to discover it by trial and error AND I WAS BORDERING ON RETURNING IT AT THAT POINT. Just in case the difficulty isn't obvious, the part you have to attach is at THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK INSIDE...which means you have to jam your entire forearm down in there to reach it. I don't have Incredible Hulk forearms, but even a person with average forearms is going to find that a very tight fit...and I mean like AIR TIGHT. My arm was actually stuck in there with suction EACH OF THE THREE TIMES I had to repeat this step. Why are customers even attaching this part? Why not just skip the orange rubber plug / tag and install the screen during assembly at the factory?Other Comments: There are notices about a tiny bit of water remaining in the sprayer as a result of their testing. The amount was no problem...less than a teaspoon, at most. And personally, I'm glad they tested it.The fan tips are kind of cheap looking, so I replaced it with a separately purchased TeeJet XR11004VS Stainless Steel tip and it fit perfectly. The battery does not come pre-charged, so hopefully all goes well when I actually use the sprayer.
