Bill cap light
I’m very glad for this light. I use it in small areas where other bigger lights can’t be used. Was worth buying it. Would do it again if I needed one.

BEST EVER! Update at the end.
Please read. I hope I come up as a verified buyer because I used my wife's card haha. I use a hat light every night and have for many years. I had bought four energiizer Hat lights many years ago because at that time they were the best ones I had found. I finally had to break down and buy some different ones because my old ones had been repaired so many times from normal use that they were beyond fixing and those particular ones have been discontinued. When I bought this light I bought 3 other brands as well and this particular light is the best I've ever seen. It holds to your hat super tight, It is very bright and has a wide field. The light sits on top of the lid of your hat so it does not obstruct your view but you can also tilt the light bar up-and-down to get the angle you need while the body of the light sits stationary against the top of your hat. I like that it has only 2 settings high and low because it's always been irritating to have to switch through 6 or 7 different modes of which you never use. Another positive to me is that it takes Triple A batteries because for years I've been using rechargeable batteries and always have some exyras charged and ready to go this way I am not waiting for hours for the light to charge up. Now I don't know how durable and long lasting this light is because I just recently bought it but I will buy a few more for the camp trailer and other places. In my opinion it's worth absolutely every penny and if the details I have brought up are ones you're concerned with as well you can't go wrong. I'm sure you'll love it!Update: Now that I have used it evey night for the past few weeks my only gripe is it is that Is this light drain your batteries particularly fast. Now I use rechargeable Energizer batteries so I always have plenty on hand ready to go but I changed them out probably once each night. Maybe regular batteries might last a little longer. I'm still glad it's not a rechargeable light.

Pretty bright light.
UPDATE AFTER NIGHT FISHING:I really like this light. I went fishing Saturday night from 9pm to 3am Sunday and I kept turning it on and off. The batteries that came with it lasted me about 6 hours which isn't that bad considering they are on the cheaper side. I was able to see when the fish were being pulled out of the water and didn't have issues tieing my knots. The light is bright af. I will advise you to take extra batteries at all times. I bought aaa rechargeable Amazon batteries and wouldn't mind changing them on a fishing session. If you need this light for work those extra batteries will come in handy. The only thing I didn't like is that the light is heavy and it bothers me because I use eye glasses and it kept pushing my hat against them. I counter that by turning my hat backwards when I didn't need the light. Just something to keep in mind.Overall I think it's a great light for the money.I got this light specifically for night fishing. The ones with the band that go around your head or hard hat eventually become used up and unable to keep tension and the ones with the rechargeable battery packs tend to be faulty. I rather buy new batteries than trusting a rechargeable ones that will take a sh!t when I'm in the water like the ones that I bought a few months ago. This light is bright. I tied a few knots with the lights off at my house and I'm able to see pretty well not to mention being able to see slightly in front of me. The real test will be when I'm in the water this weekend but so far I can tell this light will be my favorite hopefully for years to come.

HEAVY - 5 Years Later Same Light
I love Klein Tools and love this light even after 5 years of use, it is very bright for task lighting in front of you, the batteries last decently long. I would love to see an update with the option of being rechargable, the AAA batteries make this thing pretty heavy to stick on the bill of a hat. I often had to keep adjusting my hat as it tipped downward due to the weight of this. I have tried other off brands that are rechargeable, they are a fraction of this weight.

Another Great Klein Tool
I needed something to provide better lighting when working on projects in lower light conditions. Many times overhead lighting is blocked out when leaning over a project or the item being worked on is hidden from light source.Another well built quality product from Klein.

Very nice cap light
Here's what I've found. The illumination is white, not yellowish. It emits a wide and even spread of light. No circle spotlight pattern or any shadow spots. So you don't have to perfectly aim your head to use it. It's not going to replace your big spotlight but it's very bright for its purpose. The unit is rugged and holds firmly to the brim of your hat. If you knock into something then your cap is coming off, not the light. I can feel the weight of it on my cap but I wouldn't call it heavy by any means.I've tried others including smaller ones that emit less light. But I just end up being frustrated with them because they're lacking in the features I just mentioned. You're not supposed to drain rechargeable batteries all the way down. So if you want to switch to rechargeable batteries this thing goes to dim when the batteries are low to let you know when it's time to swap.I appreciate Klein putting the effort into designing this simple light. These little things may not make the company a lot of money but they sure are a handy tool when you need it. And I don't mind spending a few more bucks for a well-engineered one like this.
