Tasty and spicy
I've tried 2 of em so far. Tasty but spicy af. If you don't mind heat then get these. Super easy to make. The size is small but filling. Pretty good. If you don't like spicy I wouldn't recommend. Otherwise defo try these. Thank you.

Delicious
I bought these for my daughter who is vegan. She absolutely loved the spicy flavor and uses them in her cooking.

Not gluten free
This product claims to be gluten free, but is made with semolina which is very glutinous. My friend cannot eat gluten & I ordered this for her because it was advertised as gluten free. Luckily she read the ingredients before she ate any. Please remove the gluten free label on the ad.

Good enough
Good enough. Too bad there is no 3-m boiling water option, as in similar products. You have to heat it in a pan or microwave only. Useful tip: add a little more water than recommended and two teaspoons of olive oil before heating. Otherwise, it'll be too dry. But not bad at all, and you get more upma than similar products.

Indian food cups review
I personally did not like these. Directions seemed odd. If you add the water to the line inscribed on the cup - then the contents are dry........do not mix. More water is needed. Also found the contents all mumbo-jumbo-----not sure what was there. It was the tiny black dots (some flavoring) - that turned me off. Just didn't mix up in an appetizing way in my opinion.

I didn’t know what to expect when I bought them, but after trying them, I intend to buy more. They’re quick & easy to prepare, as well as being delicious.

A day's worth of salt in one serving
I had hoped to find a quick, healthy entree for lunch or dinner, and I know that Indian food is generally tasty and healthy. Sadly, the Kapka cups aren't what I expected. The first one was so salty that I wondered why I hadn't noticed the sodium quantity when ordering. I did check one entree for sodium, and it wasn't scary high. But apparently the different entrees have different sodium content. That's a deal killer, not just because it's unhealthy, but because excessive salt content masks all other flavors. Fool me once, shame on you.

About 8 herbs
These were a dried rice flake or semolina. All were preserved with sunflower oil. I didn't note any other preservatives except 2 of the 5 had salt also. The added herbs were quite impressive. I had not seen so well an arrayed ayurvedic herbal choice. All were about 450 calories with over 10 g protein. Its likely the quality of the herbs creates a different scale than food in other cuisine genres. Each bowl had about 8 added herbs to the carbohydrate and sunflower oil.
