I am a bigger guy, no where near 500lb but 350 and in using this chair i have had good results. it not too big for normal sizes (if there is one) and not to big for larger people like me. overall, i would be hard pressed to find a better chair for the price.EDIT: Since my last review i have lost 100lbs, this chair is not that comfortable anymore. If your loosing weight, i think the back is designed to accommodate the extra weight so not a ton of padding, when you loose weight the back feels like there is a gap in it, i am going to buy a different chair. Just an observation, i think its impossible to engineer for everything nor would you at this price, still would have been nice to keep the chair, still in excellent condition.

After ordering this product twice and receiving the Big and Tall Office Chair 400lbs Wide Seat Cheap Desk Chair Ergonomic Computer Chair with Lumbar Support Adjustable Arms Task Rolling Swivel High Back Mesh Executive Chair for Adults Women,Black OC-BT380 instead, I finally received the correct shipment. Lets start off by saysing Its Big and Tall as advertised. I do not have to raise the seat at all, as my feet just barely reach the floor at the lowest setting, (Im 6',1") Assembly was not difficult, and there is plendy of seat room. I advise installing in the room you want the chair in because I barely was able to get it through the door frame after assembly.

I weight in at over 330 pounds, and for the longest time I have been looking for a comfortable chair that I could adjust which wouldn't fall apart under me. My last "heavy duty" office chair lasted less than 4 months. I could tell immediately upon opening the box that this chair would be different. Every important part is made of METAL, not plastic, and the larger seat and wide back is very comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. I have spinal stenosis and have no issue sitting in this chair all day long. If you need a quality chair that will stand up to your weight, this is it!

I’m about 450 and after about a year, the mechanism broke. Fortunately this is an easy fix and can be replaced for much less than a new chair. Chair is comfortable for long periods of time gaming or podcasting. Fell asleep in it many times. I broke it, but I cheated on the weight limit.

Absolutely love the chair, it's very comfy and it supports me very well (I'm 6'4 390lbs). The only thing that I dont like is the armrests aren't high enough or wide enough from the chair its self. It's like they are just there to hold me in place because I cant even put my arms on them. But overall absolutely love this chair, it is very comfortable and not everyone is as large as I am so they may not have the one problem I have.

The price was right and I read the reviews. I weigh 265 and was wanting a sturdy chair that would support my weight and last. After Putin it together I was surprised how well built the chair is. I’d recommend highly. I am working from home during covid-19 pandemic and needed a chair while doing it. Would I buy it again, definitely yes.

This chair was pretty solid up until a week ago. After a year or so of purchasing it is suddenly wobbling left and right and is very uncomfortable.Up until then, it was great with the exception of the material. If you're like me and often don't where pants while at the computer, the skin on material contact is unpleasant as the material grabs your skin, and often triggers sweating and other unpleasant "pulling" feelings on the back of my thighs.While wearing clothes, and for up to a year, my big butt loved this chair, but now it's kind of a nightmare. Time for a new one I suppose.

Was actually sent wrong chair but elected to keep it and turns out it's a great chair extra wide seat with alot of room . Adjustable arm rest are great.. could use more padding in the seat area but over all great chair
