Chesapeake Bay Candle Scented Candle, Woodland Berry, Small Jar

This is one of my favorite scents; however no matter how well you keep the wick trimmed so it does not melt down the center, it does anyway. This causes a HUGE waste of the product around the center and you end up with the remaining product with no wick! Have been a candle burner for several years so I know when a quality candle is made; they need to go back to the drawing board w/this one

The small is a perfect size for my desk at work. It's easy to light and the smell isn't strong and overpowering. I bought the Driftwood and Amber scent. It's a beautiful all year around type of smell. My office is pretty big and within a few minutes of lighting it smelled great. Like I said, some candles are way to strong and you have to turn them off within an hour or so but this candle was on for a few hours and the smell stayed consistent and light. It dried up clean and doesn't look dirty after use. I would greatly recommend and will be buying again in the near future.

I usually hate sweet smells in perfume or candles but this isn't an overbearing sweet, 100% my favorite candle.

Whoo, I tell you what! This candle! Buddychild! It smells uh-real nice. Put this boi under your nostrils and give it The Big Sniff; you won’t be disappointed. If you like to extinguish candles by just poppin’ the lid right back on and watching the flame suffocate to death (don’t do that; it’s a fire hazard), be warned that smoke escapes through the top. There are holes drilled for the little rope-loop-handle-dude and the smoke shoots up outta there like the Sanderson sisters from the school’s kiln.

I purchased the Wild Lemongrass scent of the Chesapeake Bay Candle in the small jar. My first impression upon opening the box was that of a clean, fresh smell. As someone who is often overwhelmed by artificial scents I had no problems burning this candle for several hours at a time. For my taste, the scent is best suited to a laundry area or bathroom, but can imagine it could easily be utilized in any area of the home. It burns cleanly and evenly through the jar – maintaining its pleasing appearance as it goes. The charming wooden cover ensures the candle remains stylish between uses, wherever it is displayed.

This is the first time I have tried the Wild Lemongrass scent and it is great!! The jar is attractive and looks nice in the kitchen. Followed directions and trimmed the wick and burned for 2 hours. It was a very clean burn. Shortly thereafter I left the house for a couple hours. Upon returning there was still a nice light aroma from when the candle had been burning. Compared to Yankee Candle brand, I think that Chesapeake Bay Candles have a scent that lasts longer. Very nice - like the $8.00 price tag for the small jar. Would definitely buy again!

I am not new to the Chesapeake Bay candle. The ones in the taller jars are exceptional and a great value. When I open this one, the smell was amazing and wonderful. However, when it's lit, I could barely smell anyting but the wick burning. I question whether or not these are authentic as the label on the glass is etched whereas these are a sticker. I did some research and they seem to be the real deal, just a different line from the same manufacturer. I will stick to the original candle.

Smells great of gardenia! Strong enough for a small room, like a bedroom or bathroom but not enough for a large living area. Love that it’s soy and would make a great gift, just wish the smell would fill my living room.
