The media could not be loaded.  We are on our third one of these, eventually the cat will destroy any toy. But all three of our cats really like playing with this toy (7 months - 15 years) it has a nice ringing sound and is furry and spongy. I usually store these in one of my dresser drawers, and the white cat in video has learned how to open them so he can bring out the toy! He will even go behind the drawer and come up from behind to a new level if he can't find the toy in the drawer he is in! Too Cute.

We had one exactly like this that we purchased 7 years ago when we adopted our shelter cat, and it was always her favorite. Of course after 7 fun years of play it had been tied in knots, sewn when ripped, you name it. Finally I came across this one & was so happy it's exactly the same (except brand new again!), and our cat is thrilled. She is not a chewer of toys- just bats, bites, kicks, and rolls around on them, so this is perfect. If your kitty is an aggressive chewer of toys, I'd say be watchful of the little fuzzy pompoms attached by stretchy strings to the big ball, they might get chewed off if you're not looking. But if you play with your cat & put the toy away when finished, it'll last a long time, and it's lots of fun!

I don't know what it is with this thing that makes my cat so insane about it. Totally obsessed. If I leave it out by mistake he carries it to me and meows until I play with it for him. The durability question seems like a strange thing to rate when you buy soft feather toys for your at home panther. Like any soft cat toy you should put it away when your not playing with it and supervise play. The string is cloth and the rod is clear plastic those are the durable parts. I'm buying two more.

My cats love this toy, it’s one of their favorites. Over the past year I’ve probably bought 8 of them. Not that they aren’t durable, but my cats are not declawed so they are able to grab it and pull on it. It lasts long enough to justify the price and the fact that I’ve invested in several other toys and this is by far their fav. I highly recommend because the string is stretchy, many toys like this do not have a stretchy string, so they can tug on it without it breaking. They do pull the feathers of very quickly but the little black puffy balls stay on a little longer, they love tugging on those too.

There are 2 cords with small balls at the end - just the right size to block a cat's windpipe or esophagus. My petite sissy cat grabbed one of the balls in his teeth and pulled it off. Luckily, he dropped it. I promptly cut off the cords with the balls. The cats seem to like it okay, but it's early days. I don't know how long the big ball will last, and I will not leave the toy alone with them ever, or let it get too chewed. PLEASE CUT OFF THE CORDS WITH THE SMALL BALLS! It could mean your cat's life.

is my baby girl callie totally obsessed with this toy? yes. did she tear the two little balls on it off within two days? yes, but that’s fine. after a week of play did she tear the ball and feathers off the string? yes, but that’s ok too. i tie it back on when it comes off.but the last straw was when the plastic handle part broke while we were playing! now she still wants to play with it, but it’s extremely hard to hold this way.

Wand toys happen to be both of my cat’s favorite kind of toys. This one has lasted through my most energetic fur ball. She loves to chew on the stick itself and loves the jingle the ball makes. Most of the wand toys I’ve had have all broken when she snags it while I’m holding the toy and runs away. This one however, still holding up. Definitely worth the memories.

My cat has anxiety. He doesn't play very hard or very often and he's dismissed most of the toys I've bought for him.This wand...as soon as I unboxed it, my cat was all over it. He was so excited. I've never seen him like that before.Gonna have to buy some backups because it's not going to last the way he plays with it (and that's a great thing!)
