2010 C300 Sport 4Matic - Perfect Fit!
This filter is great, easy to install, and costs a fraction of what the dealer will charge. The only difference I noticed is that this filter does not carry the Mercedes-Benz logo. Tools Required: Size 20 Torx head screwdriver and a Flat Screwdriver to Remove the small metal clip holding the filter in place. Remove three torx screws under glove box, unhook light, remove panel, remove metal clip, slide filter to the left (toward driver side), and pull old filter down. To install do everything in reverse order. Took me less than 10 minutes.+ Installs in about 5-10 minutes+ Direct Replacement+ Small Booklet with Images of Exactly How to Install+ Noticeable Difference, No Longer Have a Musty Smell from A/C+ Price+ High Quality_Bottom Line_ Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend. I treat my Benz with the utmost care because well...its a Mercedes. But certain things can be completed by the average Do-It-Yourself person while saving hundreds of dollars. I also ordered the engine air filters Mann-Filter C 3698-2 Air Filter (Set of 2) to replace the two, yes two, engine air filters myself. The cabin filter and engine air filters are generally part of the A or B service but why pay so much more for the same product by having the dealer install it? I will be sticking with Mann filters from now on. Easy 5 Stars!

Just like the Mercedes cabin filter it replaced.
This cabin filter was identical to the original Mercedes cabin air filter it replaced. The old filter felt heavier and I could not see daylight through it when I held it up to the sun. The Mann filter I could just see some light through it when held up to the sun. The original and the Mann had the exact same closure mechanism that required the installer to have three hands to operate. I split the white bar with scissors so I could squeeze the filter shut with one hand and slide the closure over the ears. After one side was done I did the same to the other side and installation was complete.I liked that Mann inserted a very complete installation pamphlet in the box. Usually the installation of these is fairly straightforward but naturally, Mercedes makes it complicated gaining access to the filter. That’s a fault on Mercedes not on Mann. After installation my climate control system returned to the original factory performance. I learned that replacing the cabin filter needs to be done when air no longer blows out from the vents, mileage or time in use are poor indicators for determining the service interval.

Works for 2016 W212
Not an EXACT replacement for the OEM, as the OEM has the filter go from end to end and Mann has theirs stop with roughly an inch or so of rubber filling the rest of the way. We'll see how it performs and lasts, but for the price and it actually fitting when compared to the cheaper option on here, it's not a bad deal.

Excellent Quality and Fit, but A Pain to Install
Perfect fit for my 2012 Mercedes C250, although there is a soft plastic tag on the upper side which my OEM filter did not have; however, that didn't present any problems with installation. It would be nice if this came in an airtight sealed plastic bag as activated carbon is known to degrade through absorption of odors if exposed to air for any lengthy period (which is why replacement every year is recommended) and this item was not dated, at least as far as I could see, so there is no way to determine how long it was exposed. The construction is sturdy and this is a well-made product. However, be prepared for a twisted back and a bit of cussing during installation which will probably take longer than the advertised "24 minutes." There are plenty of on-line videos of installation procedures, but it's not quite as easy and quick as some of those make it out to be. Other than a T20 Torx bit, I'd suggest a flashlight, gloves, and two flat blade screwdrivers; there are some sharp pieces of metal and plastic you're going to have to negotiate and a metal clip (on the outbound side) that needs to pop off, which is where one of the flat bladed screwdrivers will needed. There is a sliding white plastic piece that is quite snugly fit in place and you need to move inward to replace the old filter and then outward to refit the new filter; I found using one screwdriver to push up on the housing and using the other to push this plastic piece firmly up into the housing necessary as this fits over tabs, otherwise a lot of cussing will ensue while you're fiddling around in the dark under the glove box recess, which is where the flashlight comes in handy to see what you're doing. And, make sure the arrow embossed on the underside of the filter points to the outside of the vehicle. All told, this took me about 35-40 minutes to change. I can see why most dealers charge about $100 in labor to replace one of these, but if you are even a bit handy you shouldn't have too many problems and will certainly save some coin. But have some aspirin handy for your sore back after you're done.
