It's as pictured very soft I got it in sale it's on the thinner side and good for lap blanket it slides off the furniture so dosnt work well for a cover .the color is nice .

True King Size
So hard to find Blankets and quilts that are truly King size and go down the sides of the bed. This one does. And it is soft with no lint on my clothes. And I wear a lot of black.

Beautiful but thin
Love the look and feel its beautiful and soft but with that said its not very warm. With a 500 GSM I thought it would be fairly warm. I bought a queen for my king size bed it fits pretty good, the dimensions are generous, but had to put my duvet under it for warmth. I live in the interior of BC. Will probably be warm enough alone for spring and summer. I love it though.
